TECHQUIZ

If you’re interested in mobile working machines, then the innovation we’re looking for won’t elude you for long.

TechQuiz

They are doorkeepers. What they do is nothing more than regulating entry and exit. But what we’re looking for will most likely be more intelligent than your average bouncer out in front of your favorite club. The telehandler is a good example. If the boom has to lower a load, then traditional designs often require working pressure of 100 bar or more. The innovation we’re seeking can get along with no pressure at all — and the load will be lowered far more precisely, under more stringent control.

How can these special doorkeepers do that? They don’t break out in a sweat themselves, but instead let gravity do the work for them. This saves power that is then available for other functions. And, above all, this reduces energy consumption and emissions, too. What’s more, the doorkeepers we’re looking for can save the boss a lot of money, almost along the way.
