Hägglunds Drives AB is Rexroth’s new subsidiary. Managing Director Karl Lindblom gives us some background on this merger.
What opportunities does the merger present?
We now have the possibility to grow even more vigorously than in the past. The acquisition favors development. There is an overall good fit between our activities and those at Bosch Rexroth. Our product ranges make us very competitive and we complement each other in the various industries and on certain markets. And not least, we foresee many synergies in sales activities.
Are there also benefits for the customer?
We now offer a broader scope for the customer, including our complete hydraulic drive systems and, as well, other hydraulic solutions to cover the entire project. We have already received orders – from China, for example – where we have got the job because we can offer a wider scope.
